Software is always prone to have bugs. If you encounter a problem with the AetherOnePi, please check first the requirements and usual problems in this list:
- Did you install Java 8? Newer or older versions don’t work with the Processing framework.
- Do you use Linux or Windows? (Mac User, I’m sorry, but this company renders my life really difficult with their strange behavior. I cannot fix Apple related bugs, because I don’t have a Mac … but maybe someone in the community can help you)
- If you use Windows 10 or older, have you maybe installed an additional antivirus? You know, Windows 10 has already a very good antivirus and all other antivirus software packages will slow down your computer and even open new gates for intruders (hook problematic). Also an antivirus that is too restrictive will block all kind of software, in this case the Processing framework too.
Some users even contacted me, asking for help with the HOTBITS generation with the webcam … and after some back and forth, they told me, they have no webcam. Sorry guys, I cannot materialize a webcam with radionics for you (yet), therefore buy one.
The best practice for reporting a bug is to send me the error message that appears in the console. You can report a bug in one of the communities, VK, Reddit or contact Thalia in facebook.
